Client Liaison

  • A specific Valuer from our team is assigned to each project thus creating a dedicated liaison with the Client, as point of reference from the outset. This ensures that the bases of the instructions are clear. A preliminary “desk top” figure can be discussed, to save time and fees on abortive work, and observations and recommendations made during our inspection will be subsequently reported.

  • We undertake valuations throughout the UK and Channel Islands.

Types of Property Valued

  • As a multi-disciplinary practice with a national coverage we undertake valuations on most property asset classes including shops, retail warehouse units, offices, industrial and warehouse units, restaurants and public house investments together with residential properties, residential and commercial development sites, certain leisure industry premises and health clubs. Both vacant and tenanted properties are valued.

Research and Expertise

  • We have immediate access to various leading databases, valuation programmes and significant input from our specialist inhouse agency departments, together with a large number of external contacts.

Valuation standards

  • All of our valuations are carried out in accordance with the guidance notes and practice statements as contained in the RICS Appraisal and Valuation Standards and where appropriate, the Stock Exchange Regulations or other regulatory body.

Purposes of Valuation

  • We carry out valuations for the purpose of mortgage, insurance, stock exchange listing, probate, company accounts all of which provide an excellent starting point for the formation of an ongoing asset management strategy.

Valuations are undertaken of individual properties, groups of properties, and entire portfolios whether for finance, sale or purchase or for balance sheet or annual report purposes.
